Fans say they hate dynasties.

In 2025, the Los Angeles Dodgers are the evil empire. Back-to-back titles. Another one already being planned. And the outrage is everywhere.

The outrage is loud.
The ratings… huge.

If dominance were killing baseball, people would leave. They don’t. They show up to see if the machine finally breaks.

Dynasties give the sport a boss. A target. A reason for random games to matter. Beat LA and it means something. Lose to them and it confirms the order.

Parity sounds fair.
It’s boring.

Baseball doesn’t run on balance. It runs on obsession — who’s on top, and whether anyone can knock them off.

As much as they complain, fans don’t hate dynasties.

They hate how much attention they give them.
